Weekly Shopping Trip: Sams Club Stock up + Aldi & Walgreens Shopping

Our Sams club membership is going expire in 2 days. I have no plan to renew it as we don't really need it. In Sams, you can find few things very cheap than anywhere else. Some of them are All purpose flour (25 LB for just $6.49) and Rice (50 LB for $16.63). So, I stocked up 2 bags of Rice and All purpose flour. Also, I went to Aldi for some groceries. So, totally I spent $89.33 for the products in the above picture.

This week Walgreens has super deals in Shave cream, Stayfree and Laundry detergent. So, I spent $18.93 in Walgreens and have $64 in Register Rewards.

My total grocery spending is $108.26. I know its way more than my $30 weekly budget. But I needed to stock up Rice, Flour and some other things before my Sams club membership expires. My challenge for the next few weeks is to spend as little as possible.

I love Sam's! I've let my membership go for a month before renewing the last few times.

My husband recently priced tomato sauce there. They have a #10 can of tomato sauce for less than $3! I will be going that route from now on, as I can make about 5 batches of spaghetti sauce from that one can.

Their price on sugar (brown, white, and powdered) is lower than I can get anywhere else here (we don't have Aldi's).

Here's what I buy at Sam's and why it's worth it to me to keep my membership:

Tell you what! I love Sams club. Some of the things are very cheap there. But we're only two people and we live in an apartment. So, neither we need to spend $45 for an yearly membership nor we have enough space at home.

But I use coupons as much as I can. So mostly I will equate the price of Sams club with my coupon hunting. But few things such as rice and flour are dirt cheap in Sams. No other store can beat it. By the way, we don't have a Costco nearby. So, I have no idea how it will be in Costco
