Exercise Everyday Challenge - FINALE

If you are following my exercise everyday challenge, you'll know why I have started this challenge. It's a 21 days challenge. All we have to do is half an hour physical activity everyday. Even walking can be considered as a physical activity.

To be honest, I don't like to work out. I'm a couch potato who likes to stay in my house most of the time. But after being so lazy all these years, I thought it's high time to change my lifestyle. After some serious (!) thoughts, I decided to go for this challenge.

Why 21 days?
If you've read "The monk who sold his Ferrari", you'll know the secret of 21 days. If you follow a routine for 21 days continuously, it'll become a part of your life after the time period.

How did exercise everyday 21 days challenge go?

I think I'll call it a success. I didn't do workout continuously for 21 days. The reason being, I was lazy 2 days, not feeling well 2 days. Excluding those days, I followed the routine.

So, how do you feel? Any changes in your mind set?

Yes. I see a huge change in my mind set. When I started the challenge, I didn't give much importance to weight loss. If I stress too much about weight loss, I may feel disappointed at the end of the day. My goal was to do some physical activity everyday. Not stressing myself to lose my weight. Also I want this challenge to be more fun.

After 21 days, I feel much more energized. Almost all the active day, I went to gym for work out. When I started the challenge, I used to take break every 5 mins during my workout. I didn't have much energy by that time. Now after 21 days, I'm doing elliptical continuously for one hour. And surprisingly I lost few pounds. I'm yet to check my weight. But I see the difference (my favorite VERY tight capri fits perfectly now).

It has become a daily routine now. It's not a challenge anymore. It's fun and it increased my confidence.

If you are following the exercise everyday series so far, please post your story. I'd love to hear from you.
