Most of us are having this question in our heart. Especially, if you are a homemaker/stay-at-home-mom. Even if DH (dear husband) is earning well, giving money to us, feeling independant is a joy.

I was not a fond of surveys till I came through a website called, http://www.cashcrate.com/. Its an amazing website. Within 1/2 hr, I earned $11.15. Can you believe it? :)
They'll pay you monthly. So, whenever you are free, go to the website and fill out two surveys. So even if you earn $5/day, at the end of the month you earn $150. Enjoy with the money you have.
Save it. Buy the gadget you need, use it for grocery shopping, for trips etc etc. ( i don't need to suggest you on this ;) )
Also, I won't prefer buying two sponsored offers when surveying. So, I choose surveys, which don't ask me to fill out their sponsored offerings. I'm ok even if I earn little. I don't want to use my credit cards anywhere without knowing the reputation of the website.
