Sicilian Salad - An easy Salad recipe


We used to eat out every 2 weeks and whenever there is a special occation till last March 8th (My husband's birthday). On 8th, my husband was very busy with his work. So, he said he can't spend time to eat out.

But I did want to celebrate this special day. So, Thought of cooking my own special dinner. I didn't have much time that evening. When I was searching around Joy! Vegetarian cooking book, I found this recipe. I spend around 10 mins for this recipe. But it was awesome.

Sicilian Salad:

A very easy, delicious recipe. DH doesn't like oranges. But he likes this sicilian salad and I made it for him for around 5-6 months within this two months.

Ingredients:
Orange - 1
Oliva oil - 1 table spoon
Pepper - To taste
Coriander leaves - to taste

- Remove the hard skin of the orange and seperate each orange layer.
- Peel out the soft skin of each orange layer.
- Place it in a table and pour a table spoon of olive oil (don't forget, you should spread the olive oil in all the oranges. You can brush the oranges with olive oil by using prfessional brush)
- Pour some pepper (Add more pepper, if you want it to be little spicy) and coriander leaves.
- Keep it aside (Not in the refrigerator) for 2 hours before serving
Enjoy the meal with this starter!!

This looks absolutely delish....my hubby loves oranges and I love to cook different things, so this recipe is going to be served at my house soon! :)
