My husband just flew down to India for vacation. We had been watching flight costs for a while. During that time I have noticed a pattern in flight costs.
- Flight costs are changing every Friday (let's say, you want to fly on August 5th. The amount you're seeing now will be lesser than the amount you'll see this Friday)
- Wednesday and Thursday are the best days to book flights: Normally you'll find cheaper flights on Wednesday and Thursday than any other day in a week.
- You can book flight even at the last minute and get a good deals: When I went abroad last year, I booked the flight the night before my travel day for an emergency. But still I got a very good deal. It may not happen during peak times. But still it's possible.
